Pianist/Organist

To assist the church choir rehearsals by supporting the ensemble with accompaniment music. This person is responsible for learning the accompaniment music for all of the songs for the corresponding week.

• Arrives on time to attend rehearsals.
• Supports the church choir music director in delivering the highest quality musical performance for worship.
• To learn the accompaniment music for the music that is scheduled for the rehearsal.
• Responsible for supporting other members of the praise team as they learn their own musical parts.
• Comply with policies and procedures of Southern California Conference, including but not limited to those in the employee handbook, and the North American Division Working Policy.
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Perform each essential function satisfactorily
• Be a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in good standing
• Be knowledgeable and capable of playing the piano at a high level
• Provide citizenship and criminal clearance documents and a signed child abuse reporting statement.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
