Full-Time Faculty Position in Psychology

The School of Education and Psychology at Walla Walla University is seeking applications for a faculty position in psychology. We seek an enthusiastic person whose primary instructional role includes teaching undergraduate psychology classes, as well as supporting student engagement in research and other professional development activities.

The ideal candidate will be committed to excellence in teaching, advising, and mentoring students. While teaching is primary, significant other responsibilities include academic advising and service on university-wide committees. The successful candidate will be a dedicated Seventh-day Adventist Christian committed to integrating their faith with teaching and scholarship, and should also bring real-world experiences to the learning environment. Evidence should be provided of collaborative work, scholarly activity, and a commitment to Christian higher education.

Qualifications:

• An earned doctorate in Psychology
• A demonstrated commitment to Seventh-day Adventist education, to community service, and to research and writing for scholarly publications
